Yesterday after waking up and slathering up in a gallon of sunscreen I announced to my four roommates "I feel so ready!" We ate then loaded up the bus for a twenty minute ride to the jungle. We met our guide and started out for our trek. We tried fruits and termites. The termites that tasted of peanuts were better then the fruits which smelled of blue cheese and the texture of sandy mush. We smelt natural aromas of many types of plants. In the jungle we sunk into ankle deep mud and climbed over roots to emerge onto a pristine beach. From there we went into caves and got soaked in the ocean's splashes. We continued our journey and went to Miss Mays point where we could see for miles. We saw sloths and heard howler monkeys. We ended our day playing in the waves and relaxing with our friends. Headed to snorkel next! Can not wait!!
