Costa Rica group 1- Abigail Reddic

Hello from La Fortuna! Today, group 1 experienced a whirlwind of adventures beginning with zip lining. I can confidently say that not one of us could ever explain the feeling of going down those zip lines. We then traveled to the caves which many of us were a little nervous about. We had a 5 minute walk down to the caves that built up the suspense. I will say that caving is not easy and was very tough for many of us. The humidity was strong and the spaces were tight, making it an extreme bonding situation for our group. The feeling of exiting the cave can only be described by the feeling of triumph. Our group was more than happy to eat some well deserved lunch. As we traveled back to the hotel, we were informed of the rest of our day which consisted of relaxing and roaming through the town. We are now eating dinner as a group and are very excited about a meal not involving rice and beans! Tomorrow we embark on the 7 hour drive to the beach so wish us luck!
