We stayed with a wonderful family of four. Our host mom was Marcielo and an amazing cook! Our father, Johnny, is a carpenter and talks Muy rapido! Jason(17) and Julie(13) both listen to Bruno Mars in English!!!! It was really exciting Since that was the only English ever heard within the household. They were so welcoming and very patient with our lack of Spanish and we learned more than we thought we would with them! Our bedroom luckily was very spacious and our beds didn't squeak! At the school we worked at, the kids were beyond happy to see us! Our favorites of the kids were Alexa and Maria! We enjoyed playing freeze tag and painting their school so much! It was an amazing experience! And now we are doing tattoos on the bus, anticipating the caving coming up!
