Notes from the front line, Group 1 Day 3

As we depart from La Fortuna to take our long bus ride to Cahuita I asked every member of our group to just give you some of their thoughts. Heres what they had to say.

Ziplinning was exililarating and incredible. Water repelling is fun. Caving is fun. Costa Rica is fun. Seth Garbowski

Hola from costa rica! Ziplining, caving, and repelling were all a little scary, but amazing!! This country is beautiful and the food is delicious! We are headed to the beach now and i cant wait! Oh and to mom and dad-actually havent gotten carsick yet! Pura Vida! -Alli McCutchen

There arent enough letters or words in the english language to describe how amazing this trip is. I've never tackled so many fears or had so much fun while doing every single thing. Pura Vida! -Mari Jones

Things Ive Learned
     1. Costa Rican pineapples are so much better than Americas
     2 . Ziplining is terrifying
     3. Rappelling is terrifying
     4. The birth canal is quite tight
     5. The roads are almost as tight as said birth canal
     6. Cookies + Coffee = yummy
     7. Dramamine works quite well
     8. Las vacas son todos los partes

Hello everyone! Carlyle here back on the blog. Its been a great day 3! I haven't gotten tired of rice and beans (yet), and now coffee has become an all day everday occurence for me. After rappelling, we hopped on the bus for a ride to la playa! Pura vida and until next time!

12. You can't flush toilet paper... ever
13. Costa Ricans like rice and beans... a lot
14. Costa Ricans think paved roads are over rated
15. Costa Ricans can raise some fat cows

17. Bats can produce an obscene amount of poop (guano)

Ziplining was alright. Caving was cool. Repelling was fun. The food's good. The people are nice. 10/10 country, I would visit again. -Kenneth Chow

I miss grouchos but the juice is pretty dank. Moran keeps yelling cinco cinco cinco and turbulance. Everything has been fun. Im excited to snorkle. Costa Rica is much better than Columbia.
