2012 Costa Rica Expedition is complete

Everyone arrived back in Columbia safely...the adventure of a lifetime.

All of us are here and on the road to Hammond!

We will all be calling parents to give our most accurate ETA

Flight I has arrived!!

Those students on United Flight 4197 have arrived safe and sound. We are all early awaiting the rest of our class and will loa the bus to head to Hammond... Tired and exhausted but still can't stop talking about our trip!

Just landed in Houston!

Adios Costa Rica...

Bittersweet morning as we sit around the breakfast table talking about all of our memories from this past week and taking last minute pictures. I really feel that not only did we grow close as a group but there is a special place for Costa Rica in all of our hearts. Every group will have a story or a specific message they individually learned from this trip, but over all We feel that through this journey a feeling of love and compassion not just for Costa Ricans or ourselves, but for fellow humans of all life and fortune, genuinely learned and conveyed. The impression we left on the children at these school will stay with us all the way back to Columbia. We are ready and excited to come back home and share our stories! Just wanted to let you know that we are alive! We have had a fantastic trip and we did all of the activities!! We can't wait to get home and see y'all. We will miss all of the beach activities such as snorkling and just chilling on the beach! Hopefully we can do that in the USA!!! We also loved water repelling off of a 165ft cliff and also the ziplining. Well mom and dad, no more chicken, rice, and beans for the rest of our lives please! We love and will see you soon :) :) :)
