Group 1 in Tres Equis- Abigail

Hello from Tres Equis!
We finally have a bit of wifi and have so much to blog about! These past 24 hours have been very different from any part of the trip. As we approached the town of Tres Equis, everyone was nervous. As we hopped off the bus, our sweet mothers greeted us warmly. We were then paired up and sent to our homes for bonding time until dinner. The language barrier is vast but hand motions and charade games saved the day. We then had dinner with our families and headed to bed. Today we met early in the morning and headed to the local school. We bonded as we painted the outer walls of the school. Some of us even were "interviewed" by some of the students in their English class. We then had a typical lunch at school and headed back to our houses. We now are playing a game of "Futbol" on the fields. The experiences we are having here are ones we can't compare anything to. The love from these families is endless and it will be hard to say goodbye, but we can't wait for some hot water and air conditioning! Tomorrow we will receive wifi and will spend our last day in San Jose! Pura Vida!
