Los aventures de grupo 1

After day one in La Fortuna, we have zip lined over amazing, tropical scenery, crawled through a cave, and hung out in a hot spring. Our first day was filled with adventure that definitely pushed all of us out of our comfort zone! The terrain in Costa Rica is so different and so beautiful- my cabin has woken up both mornings, gone out on our porch, and had the most amazing view of the beautiful, huge volcano outside the cabins with clear sky around it. I've also been picking up a little bit of Spanish here and there (mostly thanks to Walden!) and I think that's really adding to our overall adventure! Can't wait for another great day in La Fortuna and for repelling down a waterfall today! Miss and love you Mooma, Dad, Caroline and Mar! Pura Vida, Britt

¡Hola de Costa Rica!
Day one was absolutely incredible! We went zip lining with a gorgeous view of the lake and the volcano. The longest zip line was half a mile long and went extremely fast. Then later we went caving which was a very eye opening experience. I wasn't so sure when we went through the tiny holes, but once all of us, including Cannon, fit it was fine. Once we made it out of the cave alive, we went straight to the hot springs. We relaxed in the water, naturally warmed from the volcano, and then shared our experiences over supper. The trip so far has been more than incredible and I think we all look forward to repelling today.
Pura Vida,
Walden
